The Excitement Of Chance

Updated on June 24, 2011

We Patiently Watch And See What Happens

The thrill that keeps us wanting more

No matter what the odds of something happening we realize it can happen

Maybe not now or tomorrow but soon

You might be lucky enough to witness the truth

When it does happen

Being amazed at every outcome

We hope for the best and soon things perform in a certain way

The results good or bad we accept it and learn to deal with it

If it was positive we try to repeat exactly what we did so we can do it again

If it was negative we try to figure out why

From there we move on and base our next guess on the past previous results

It makes the fun more risky and we can't wait to see what happens next

Then we start the whole process again

In some ways we think we have the answer and once again when the outcome is different than we expected

So now we are puzzled

Then we try to find the reason why we were wrong

So we take another educated guess based on the new information we have been given

Games of chance have been around probably since the beginning of time

In time we will know the results

Someone will win and someone else will loose again

Will lifes mysteries ever end ?

Aeriel_ALN There are so many things in our lives that we leave to chance.I wonder if there is a better way to increase our chances of doing the right things that God has intended for us.I feel if you spend the time doing what is right in your heart it has to be right. But some how in the real world it doesn't seem to be true.I am still trying to figure it out.Any suggestions?

It's always such a wonderful feeling when you're able to reach out and find that someone is thinking the very same thing you are. It simply means that you are a wonderful writer and very good at finding the common ground with people. Have a wonderful day yourself DREAM ON.

Aeriel_ALN You are seeing in my mind.I try to figure things out and many times I just end up with more questions than answers. But the fun I have.It means so much to me that you see my life the way I see it.Sometimes I search long and hard for the right words and I lose the reader. Thanks for hanging in there on every twist and turn.Have a very good day.

I love the free verse style you use here! Life's mysteries are truly never ending and it can be both joyous and painful along the way trying to figure them all out, but just enjoy the ride! After all it's not about the end, but the journey. I also love the way you simply take the thinking process and write it down, line by line, in total and complete raw emotion. Wonderful hub, DREAM ON, wonderful!
