"The Fate of the Undisciplined Man"

Shadows

The fate of the undisciplined man

Lurking about the land

Taking upon shapes

Tar, black, stretching thin and long

Grids, these narrow paths

These tracks of our fears

Of our delusions

This grand design

Perversions; oppressed upon this map

Shallow waters run wild

Deep is the ocean of tranquil pain

Still, beats this drum, this engine

Propelling through a thick red sludge

Devils milk

Feeding life

Nutrients of sin

Artificial artifacts of a land I long surpass

Yet still remain

Shadows

The fate of the undisciplined man

A duel to the death

A promise that we keep

Repeating

Adding up

High upon high

Sky upon sky

Sun upon sun

Moon upon moon

The fate of the undisciplined man cometh

For see, it cometh soon

Ha Jodah, there are many layers to this one, many disciplines in life. You seem to have discipline of the soul, the heart of a poet, I assume you'll be fine, ha again.

      Best regards, Eric

Great! Another slow burn for the undisciplined man. So many of us fall in this boat! Peace, Bro.

There will be consequences for not learning the importance of why we need to discipline our flesh. You did a great job explaining that.

Thanks Dana, you definitely understood the objective of this work. Flesh vs Spirit.
