The Fight Within Her by Nikkij504gurl and Bellawritter23
Do I smile now or cry later
I walked the lands like a lost crusader
I met the light I see it close
From the grounds I arose
My soul that swept the hells
Released from the pits spells
From the pavement I was lifted
A woman he made so gifted
I was trapped inside that torment,
all those years lying dormant.
I could hear you from the other side,
You thought that I had died.
But I was silently awaiting,
An inward struggle I choose to release
Killing my goliath my darkened beast
I slayed you once not twice again
For I lay you down to rest in a burning den
I see no evil for I see what’s right
My future beholds a ray of light
But that ray of light soon will darken,
for my voice you shall hearken.
No longer will I burn in flames,
The whole world will speak my name.
Inside you I now dwell,
Inside you is my hell.
You slayed the dragon,
but left the beast.
Till I rise again,
I will not cease
Hold your tongue do not speak
Slaughtered name no blood to leak
Inside you I draw my breath
Inside you a destructive death
A crippled spirit that calls its grave
To this dragon I will not slave
Wrists and ankles shackled tight
This line I draw you wicked knight
You lock me up inside your mind
with bars and chains I find,
but no amount of steel can hold me back,
I am not a prisoner for you to track.
You will bow down to me
the dark, so tempting.
I will bring you to your knees
along with the rest of humanity.
These bonds will not hold me long
for inside I am growing strong.
You're playing with fire, my dear
One wrong move and you're sure to burn,
You've had your fun,
now its my turn.
Fire you call this game you play
Forged metal they cut and slay
A prisoner of mine I place on track
A shadow that lurks with attacks
I hold my reign in this atmosphere
To you I will not bow and knee in fear
A covered chest with a sacred plate
Waiting to be called to thy Kingdoms gate
Place the condemned to burn with fire
Perceived the sound of a deceitful liar
I lay your head now to rest
Bound to execution at your request
