The Final Analysis

Updated on August 6, 2017

Given all of the earth, the most beautiful of gifts,

Every day we see and to feel, our souls so lifts.

The appreciative of ones, those who try to save,

Try to compensate for the worst, lives they gave.

When one man gives his all, as ten, not one thing,

The future of this world looks grim, no joy to bring.

Where does it all so end, what future may we see,

Only the justified results, for a few, so unjust, to be.

Pouring of wastes into precious streams, so cruel,

The misuse of nature's bounty, the search for fuel.

Smothering breaths of the innocent, their pure air,

The dumping of poison into the oceans is so unfair.

The misuse of nuclear power, its worth misplaced,

Casting off the residual evil, of those has disgraced.

The search for a better way, misguided, by the inept.

Destruction of the world we know, while we all slept.

Will we all correct those wrongs, terrible actions of a few,

Make the world a better place, by what each one does do?

Is it now too late to change our course, make things right,

As our children all sleep so close to us in the dark of night?

It is never too late to change from wrong to right. Thanks for provoking our sense of responsibility.

Oh yes, why aren't humans greatful?

Nothing we deserve, little we earn and all our needs , even more are supplied by the gracious love of Creator, God the Almighty.

That's a lovely and thought-provoking poem. I love the pictures too. Yes, it's sad that humans dump their waste into the streams and oceans. =(
