The Firery Center We All Can Explore

Updated on October 9, 2010

Hold On To Your Heads Where Going In

Many think of life as something somewhere to be found

I like to think of it as life all around

Some people look all there lives for a secret

I like to think we have the gift we just have to realize it

Other people complain that life doesn't give them a chance

I say the chance was given over and over again you just where to busy to give it your all

When the gift of greatness is hidden deep within

Like a cherry cordial one bite and your in

You have to want it and make it happen

This has to be much more than a fad or a passing craze

You have to wake up the world from the words that you speak

What if our hearts were made out of dynomite

Would you light that fuse and watch it explode

Or would you run and hide and someday understand where ever you go you can never be safe

You have to bring out the joy so others can see

And I mean not just your close friends and family

One that will rock the town like a earthquake shakin all the ground everywhere we are at

What makes us forget that burning desire today

That it can so quickly turn tomorrow into ashes

Do not expect anyone to carry the torch of success for you

You are the only one that deserves the claim to fame

So as you sit here and read this short story of glory or confusion

Let it be known that you are the only one that holds the key to the future

Take a deep breath and swollow your pride

Remember you have nothing to hide

DO - You've managed to touch upon the great majority of realities about LIFE and what it is, what it means & what it's not! You're truly a philosopher! One of the more subtle realities, for some reason though it's apparent all around us is the insecurity of it. People buy insurance, not because it really assures anything - but because it's almost a sure thing it will be needed - LOL. And if it's not we feel we've bought ourselves the lack of need of it and it's worth every penny! haha From our first breath, we're at risk. That's not even a factor & definitely not a negotiable one! -But as you pointed out in the line: "... would you run and hide and someday understand where ever you go you can never be safe" The point - which you bring out again and again - is that we LIVE now - when we are living. No reason to project forward and backward, and certainly not for the purpose of having all the living tied up and delivered. That's anti-life! When it no longer holds the possibility of disaster, neither can it hold the possibility of enrichment! It's an empty basket big enough to hold whatever goodies you can and will find to put in it! If it gets a little cluttered with aches or challenges - just work them out of there or tip it over and dump 'em. Tomorrow will have its own pulsating, living choices if we have room for them in our baskets!

You always bring us the best thoughts, Dream On. And I like it that you also share some of your own doubts and concerns. Of course - you have them, otherwise you'd be unreal! Hugs...

Acaetnna How simple it sounds and how hard it can be.Maybe if I keep reminding myself and get the support of others finding the same problems and at the same time accomplishments. We can both share in this wonderful world of Disney. The important thing is no matter what happens we are not alone.Through thick ad thin.Life keeps unfolding to reveal its most incredible magnificent treasures to all that are willing to search for it.Thank you for giving me a read.
