The Fruitless Waves of the Conductor

Updated on January 7, 2011

Will you turn back...

 to ways that will prosper...

there isn't much room...

to go where your headed...

the tracks will not hold you...

they in a word refuse...

can anyone hear me...

engineer are you there?

I feel like I'm talking to void...

waisting my air...

please check your messages...

I texted you the same...

the tracks are out ahead...

is no attention being paid?

I hate to nag but this pace won't hold...

the bridge you hope to build has broken...

you will fall unending below...

still silence...

I must not stop trying...

it is upon the seeing that the world is relying...

perhaps some will jump if they see the danger...

lets see if broadcasting the message will save them...

If not then I tried...

nothing else to be done...

until then I must speak till I'm dumb...

you have space to jump...

change direction...

seek the right course...

give up your baggage...

it just ties you down...

to a course that won't profit...

one, two, three, JUMP.

I hope you won't mind my selection but needed to share something your piece reminded me of ...

I think we are on the same train, different cars perhaps but going the same way, to the same place...

backward actually, the destination determines the value of the ride. It is necessary to "look where you want to go and take the track or ride that will get you there." Some rides end up as run away wrecks on principle.

Expecting a baton being waved about fruitlessly to an ignoring orchestra was my expectation. I guess the simile could still fit the piece.*smiles*

So caught up in this ride we are on we fail at times to remember it is the ride that determines the destination. Unless perhaps I have missed the train here ...?
