The Genius Zone and English Literature

Updated on September 28, 2016

So whats the Verdict

There's some people in life that somehow have managed to space themselves out from the rest of the crowd, far apart mentally from millions of average people. Something is inherently different about them, and utterly peculiar. Its evident that they've discovered their own gift for using knowledge to an overall advantage, and with its full embrace managed to make life itself suddenly seem simplistic in their royal eyes; hence placing them into an exclusive elite class of sought after intellectuals such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Stephen Hawking.

As for those great examples of well achieved individuals stated up above, in comparison to that of the geniuses of world literature their level of greatness are complimentary to their technical counterparts. There's always going to be those people who can conjure up entire worlds of thought, but without the founders of literature itself none of our more modern appealing realities would have ever surfaced to see the light of day.

Due to the true hidden power of words, pure imagination gains true strength, and a creative mind gains greater purpose. This is how such things as a simple short story, a fantasy, science fiction, and fictional tales all came about. (Like the Canterbury Tales & Huckleberry Finn)

Culmination of writers voice

This all being done with their true writers voice alone, and in mere moments we can turn our overflowing thoughts into anything. In ancient times, and even till today this aspect of taping into ones writers voice was initially loaded onto scrap paper, then pumped onto official pages of great books, auto biographies, short stories, creative poetry, classic novels, and even into school text books.

On occasion however the very same individuals may have lived and experienced some truly harsh situations in life, struggles, and economic hardships. These unfortunate souls, have in fact been inspired to somewhat hide from their difficult real world reality they lived at one time, and eventually they rose up out of their proverbial ashes to become world renowned writers with profound intellectual prowess.

So for them, this new writing vice has become a sort of escape hatch, and instrument of sorts to break through the attachments to real world issues they've been dreading for years.

This is where such writers with true potential today can, and have stepped into that realm of the unknown, and taken a chance at ending up in such a real yet imaginative realm known as the Genius Zone.

So what really is this Genius Zone?

This isn't any ordinary physical tangible place, nor is it a thing. However, it is a sort of event horizon of the mind. Where reality suddenly snaps out of its perpetual orbit for a brief moment in time, and that person who experiences it for the first time; can comprehend more then the average mind is capable of absorbing, retaining, and rendering back to that of the physical realm from which it came.

I believe becoming a genius is no different from a stroke of luck that's similar to winning the lottery. The mind of a genius will win far more then just money though, they have the power to win over people's trust, and hearts since they actually achieve great things that the average person couldn't dream of doing. Some of them craved to get noticed for their accomplishments, and have had to wait many years to be acknowledged after their hard working efforts. Now for some very fortunate others that defining moment came much sooner.

This particular status and acknowledgement of someone attaining great wisdom, is usually given by that of the masses of people who have grown to not only accept such a persons amazing abilities, but they also support them in many other ways. A great deal of people become their fans, and even help them in their strides towards much greater successes of career oriented victories when such a moment arrives.

However on the contrary to that above true statement, is quite the opposite today. You know when many folks that are running self fulfilling campaigns of all sorts, are seeking such high praise, both on and offline. Making it appear as if they've achieved such a level status in life, but they haven't truly earned a thing in the process, which isn't a part or pathway to the genius zone experience at all. (Becoming rich doesn't make the cut either, this thing requires superior smarts, and a unique appeal to all of humanity on all intellectual levels possible.)

Great Thinkers

Oh yes, becoming such a brilliant thinker is a very well defined path, and has a reality of its own for the challenged traveler, where certain lucky individuals get the chance to achieve moments of clarity up in their mental spaces, that aren't quite available to others outside of it.

You know, it's never fair how it all plays out thereafter, but this truly is what separates the normal people, from those who are considered to be far above average, and out right abnormal (On the path of NEO), and surely when it comes to their functioning brain activity, and mental capacity for applying what they've been learning through life.

As a writer if you have achieved that all time level of making it to the Genius Zone, it will show in every single word you've placed into action, because your words are not only just words now, they have shape shifted and morphed into something of an anomaly.

Momentus Occurence

Spontaneous eventful happenings of many sorts for most great minds, whether it be moments of heighten states of alertness, caution, or excitement helps them to become much more accurate at what they've mastered doing, but at the same time they may appear to be abnormal with respect to that of the daily performances of the common thinker. This must be so, mainly because of the way their words tend to bend perspectives on reality more intensely, and spun out into a totally differing view on things entirely.

Now, from one stand point as a passive observer, you would think by reading such material written from a literary power house, that it may appear to be an unachievable objective and goal to acquire such a strong hold on words in general, and many online writers seem to get intimidated by the shear volume of which has be written by other great minds before them. This occurs quite often, and is only a measure of someones inability to fit the mental profile of a genius.

As an active observer though, you shall always remain decisive in your efforts of hot trivial pursuit to prove of your importance, presence, and to simply attempt at repeating what's been done many times ten fold before you were ever thought of or born. Now for someone to create a literary masterpiece, its definitely a moment worth annotating about into some sort of historical archive, and for the world to speak of forever, which is in fact how history itself has been written into being.

Such Rational

Most rational thinkers seem to function on a very high level of mental activity, on the other hand irrational people may seem really strange to us all. For some reason the irrational folks always appear to generate the most far fetched ideas, and thought processes.

This was the case with many ancient philosophers like Friedrich Nietzsche, Socrates, Aristotle, and so many other great minds; many of which were the ones responsible for making up their own assumptions about reality, human existence, the universe and all, which turned out to be totally erroneous once greater data was errected, and proven to be utterly wrong long after they had left the earth, but not all great thinkers had failed in such a way, and many even challenged the religious beliefs systems, and governmental structures of ancient civilizations, which eventually reshaped the contours of our more modern scientific perspectives over time such as the theory of special relativity by Albert Einstein, leading to our more modern technologies today.

Since they were all regarded by their peers as geniuses, that knew how to portray a much more intense way of seeing things in reality or how they proposed it to be. It also afforded them the ability to try at reshaping our world views on reality as a whole with the use of cleverly worded terminology, so to bridge the gaps in a typical persons mind as to answer for them, some very interesting yet puzzling philosophical questions as to why humanity in fact exists in the first place.

This is the dividing line between false reality, fact, theory, and proven truth's, belief and non-beliefs, which all fall within the realm of the genius zone, and in such an untouchable level to most individuals who may never dare, or attempt to scratch at its impenetrable surfaces of logical rationale.

Breaching the Walls of Deception

Words of true English literature actually are another example of such brilliance, which stem from this sort of higher learned type of person (A scholarly individual who's highly educated). Learning to use terminology as a powerful stance, and official metaphysical foundation to stand on, also begins to set in for most great minds in many roles of government. Examples of such world leadership, from those people who used words to embrace this undeniable premise are: Julius Ceasar, Joseph Stalin, Karl Marx, Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte and so many more powerful minds.

This true life achievement has shown itself in people to have taken its truest form, and shape as was done over millenniums of time with such things as in the writings of history books, entire courses of study in colleges, universities, and the likes. All of this occurred for those high caliper intellectually sound scholastic individuals; whom deemed it necessary in life, to teach others to learn from their mistakes, their victories, and discoveries of ancestral leadership.

William Shakespeare was one awesome writer who exemplified this truth. He found a way to stand out above all the rest of the crowds of people in his time like him, as a human being with super creative flair for written words, and who truly had become the most profound writer of all time. Today and during ancient times there were many more great writers whom have taken such leaps of faith as well, Geoffrey Chaucer (The Father of English literature), Steven Spielberg, Maya Angelou, and so many other amazing authors through out the ages.

Freeing the Mind up into Open Air Space

What needs to be done to allow the mind to remold itself from its disfigured form and condition is the full release of all the contents of irrelevant information it contains. This then opens up the mind to accept more accurate forms of knowledge, thus setting it free to become what is known as true wisdom. After time passes by and experiential application of such active knowledge is taken into full effectiveness of a real situational activation in life, this noble truth sometimes will also come at an extreme cost to the individual, but proves it self to be worth the investment of time and expenditure of energy.

That explanation of freeing ones mind doesn't quite make a person a genius in itself, because there's loads more for a person to do to be considered to be classified as such but its a start though. I do believe however that a person who truly decides to utilize such learned knowledge, and applies it to real world situations consistently. They will definitively find the way to opening its logical chambers of secrets, which is how literary geniuses are born and any other types for that matter.

On the outskirts of things though, this magnificent experience of becoming known as a big mega brain of a writer, could be looked upon by others whom may view it, as a sort of weapon, and even become a sort of foreign enemy to them, during a surprise visit from per say a puzzling lecture given from a professor, a great speech spoken to them.

Such an occurrence can be translated into worded vocal delivery via a public speaking platform, as well as many more examples of words touching the real world over a large audience or crowds of people. Now once their writings are classified by the likes of millions of viewers to be deemed the works of a pure genius, then and only then shall it be recognized as such, hence leading to true freedom of ones mind and thought taking full effect.

Worded Powers

Words are this powerful totem, they have the ability to spark up and generate an inception, a dream, a fantasy to come to life in a novel, words can sprinkle the screen with colorful aspects that even art cannot touch, and this is where the true genius in it all lies.

Poets all depend on the inner and outer contours of the illustriousness of hidden messages, painting worded portraits for the mind to be fully engaged with. Come to think of it, art in some odd way, is words, and words are true art as well. Both of them work hand in hand as a united front to construct visual-ism that gravitates us all to it, and especially when it comes to today's technology, using automated devices and mechanisms to explicitly display such a colorful marriage of sorts between the two.

Imagine mathematics without words, well all the mathematicians in the world also depend on its strong hold in which it has its ways of making all the proofs valid, even the truth tables may become falsely perceived, and the theorems may turn out quite the opposite of what one may first have perceived.

This is definitely where the stroke of a true genius exists per say, like when Albert Einstein, or Sir Isaac Newton, comes into the picture in full bloom, for they weren't just math nuts, and super geeks. They also became philosophers in life, whom of which psychologically speaking; all were made from a totally different cut, and clarity of a distinctive diamond mind all together.

She believes the Genius Zone is within us all, who knows folks

Thanks @raciniwa, for the cool comment, I did my best with this article to point out what I feel the average person can actually achieve in this life. Many of us stop and doubt our abilities for some reason today, but I will not and will continue to make strides to tap into my genius if at all possible :)

@Docmo, thanks bro for the awesome rave review, that was so cool of you to do for me, I love English Literature, and that of history as it all plays itself out to us all in the form of words, and so this was one hub I had to get out of my head. Cool beans Bro, chat with you soon.

Wonderfully articulated, thought provoking musings on the subject of genius and the power fo words. Like you , I too believe in words as a powerful totem. The ability to communicate and articulate an idea in a way that many understand and assimilate it is as important as conjuring a new thought. It is interesting that we've both approached the subject of excellence in a similar vein... for my 100th hub I wrote one called 'In pursuit of Excellence' that shares a similar philosophy... I perhaps think of the genius zone as an achievable goal as much as luck and circumstance. this is a fascinating study, Cloudexplorer. Truly awesome!

@RobinGrosswirth23, wow! your comment is pretty awesome that you left me up there, I am so over joyed to have been the benefactor of such an insightful comment as that.

I truly appreciate the fact that you took the time to read my hub here, and to give it such a rave review. Thanks Robin.

I try my best at times to dig deep into my heart of hearts for memories of learning experiences I've had at one time or another, and to squeeze out what it is that has brought delightful knowledge to me as a young traveler, and student of this life as a whole.

Giving credit where it is due for such a learning experience to have been possible, is what has also motivated me to begin attempting to write in such a way, this one however was pure luck I do believe, and I wish I can manage to do it again in other hubs with the same touch, but it may be very hard to accomplish for me, we will see for sure.

@KatrineDM, Yes indeed some very fortunate souls have had the pleasure of becoming what is known as a genius, and even today there's many of us floating around even in the digital woods and tapestry of the online world.

The puzzling question for me is, who is going to be the next one to step up to the plate, and take such an Olympic torch of sorts for great minds, by becoming the very next world renowned noble prize winner per say, like Albert Einstein.

Inquiring minds like myself, would surely love to know, and I hope I'm still alive to see such a day come to light for us all.

Thank you for dropping by at my Genius Zone corner of hubpages, I am so tickled to know that you have been entertained by my words Katherine, I do my very best to please all who come to share and give any of my hubs a good read, and I hope to be able to return such a favor back to you soon as well.
