right angles,

measured acutely,

line themselves

around the meridians

of her pain,

an inverse correlation

between them.

Succinct and to the point. My heart goes out to all those who suffer pain of any kind. Every word of your poetry is measured for maximum impact!

Wonderful comparison using math. I live with plenty of pain. I did manage to get rid of most of it when I kicked husband # 3 out!

Short and to the point. Emotional pain can be as bad as physical pain. I feel for people in pain. Well done, Audrey.

      Blessings to you

When energy stops flowing, pain abounds, Acupuncture is sometimes the remedy. Clever indeed...

Where there's an angle, there's an arc. Pain arcs. That's my take. Great, Audrey.

Very deep. I have a very close and dearest friend with fibromyaligia and thought of her while reading. The meridian(s) hit close to home thinking of its pressure points. Again, very deep when considering all the spectrum of pain physical and emotional. Thank you Audrey . . . for your amazing poetic perspective.

Amazing. How do you do that? As usual, love your take on the human condition and how your use of words form a picture of it. Thanks for the clinic, Audrey. I'm going to go and read it again.
