The Gift of God's Grace

Updated on September 12, 2011

" But I am greatly displeased with the nations that take my grace for granted." Zechariah 1:15

Take not His Grace for granted,
From His Love, God's Grace does flow.
Without His Love and Mercy,
His Grace we would not know.

And life without the Grace of God
is a pointless, grim pursuit...
without His Hope and promises,
life's a tree without a root.

So each and every day, His Grace
is a blessing of priceless worth,
and merits appreciation
to the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

O Father, God, I thank you.
Your precious gifts, I, now, embrace.
Let me never take for granted,
the gift of Your Holy Grace.

Ruchira, Jenna, Dexter, and ttw, thank you. I am not a particularly religious person, although I am deeply spiritual. Were it not for God's divine Grace, life would be just too hard for this tender heart. At the risk of sounding too preachy, I wrote and published this as a reminder to myself, first and foremost, how bountiful God's Grace has been to me during the many challenges that life has presented, especially of late. I am grateful down to my booties, for the endless supply of God's Grace, and wish never to take His Love and generosity for granted. Again, thank you!
