The Good Will Always Shine

Updated on November 10, 2012

Even When No One Is Looking

We all know our life is shorter than we think

Just when we start understanding and finding answers

A twist will send us spinning

We have know way of knowing what the future holds

What we do know is how we have lived our days until we get old

We did what we wanted right, wrong or somewhere inbetween

We have learned many lessons along the way

Through it all we have laughed and cried

Many times left without answers and just asking a puzzling why

To all the days that I have shared so many wonderful memories

That no book can ever hold

Each more exciting than the next

For the first time in my life I have to say

We had so much fun and just when it seemed to end

I am at a loss

I can't possibly imagine how much fun is ahead of us

That will make all yesterdays memories a mere star in the sky

As I say with love I will miss you mom and luv you one more time

This was awesome. So beautifully written, yet I was not expecting the ending that came. Bless you, for writing such a thoughtful tribute.

And you are right . Time flies and yet we still always think there´s plenty of time.

Well done. Stars for this one.

DREAM ON...beautifully written and I feel your loss..I do something unusual every year on my Dad's/Mom's passing dates..I have an old sweater that he always wore..I sit in my weed garden and have a cup of tea and talk to him..I do the same with my mom ( an old hat she wore when tending to her garden ) it has helped dealing with the physical loss..but I will always have my memories. Knowing I have these days to share, helps me to move up and forward...just sharing my thoughts with you...great words dedicated to your Mom...
