The Grand Architect (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on October 11, 2015
Grand architect...God the master designer of the entire universe...
Grand architect...God the master designer of the entire universe...
Every one of the lord's own are important to this earth...
Every one of the lord's own are important to this earth...
the small creatures are also the lord's...
the small creatures are also the lord's...
Our father plants his seeds and they flourish into fruits of the world...
Our father plants his seeds and they flourish into fruits of the world...
Creatures great and small...the Lord God made them all...
Creatures great and small...the Lord God made them all...
His creations are our gifts on this earth...
His creations are our gifts on this earth...
His beautiful creations are ever changing...rearranging...into even more magnificence...
His beautiful creations are ever changing...rearranging...into even more magnificence...

The Majestic mountains, the deepest oceans, and valleys wide,

Over this all and about us, our gracious creator does so preside,

Earth's beautiful creatures, as divine, those, the great and small,

Our Lord God, his gifts, in his benevolence, has made them all.

Drawn upon the broad earthen scapes, his beautiful master plan,

Seeds, gently planted and nourished, then by his guiding hand.

These to sprout and have so flourished, in tall rows now to stand,

As products of the father, each woman, her child and every man.

His affection to encompass the universe, and all of its fine design,

An architectural masterpiece, in every single mark and careful line.

No planet with its encircling moon, ever to escape his watchful eye,

Each atomic structure, its integral parts, as about its sphere to fly.

His blue print spread before him, the lord then may add, to take away,

Lives of every soul he's made, we're in his thoughts both night and day.

Forever living, bright spirits all giving, their celestial lights on display.

Our Lord God in heaven, this oversees, and has taught us all to pray.

His children he loves, near them to abide, all holds so closely by his side,

An unconditional love... undivided attention, for every need does provide.

As meteors soar in a darkened night, their destinations, all within his sight,

He turns darkness, into bright day's light, ruling heaven with all his might.

Yes--good idea to have that protection when handling a tarantula! Love the heavenly thoughts and the photos that work so very well with all that you write. Well done and truly an inspiration.

Yep but it was kept well away. It was a poisonous variety. Thanks for stopping by. whonu

Whonu, your strong faith is apparent in everything you write. I love nature and its inhabitants. However, God could have spared us the tarantulas! Is that your hand inside the glove? Ewwwww!

A booster for unceasing praises to the Creator, God the heavenly Father. Worthy is He.

My friend Eric you already write poetry in your weekly sermons. Poetry in both written and spoken forms is for all to hear and interpret. Thank you for your poetry from the heart. whonu

      Whonu,

Are you suggesting that I - I would have it in me to write in this thing you call poetry. If I could just learn to uncontrol me.

Hello Eric my friend. I often write and allow my words to flow. Sometimes one sentence fragment belongs elsewhere and after closer scrutiny, I rearrange them. Most poetry comes in odd hours of the night or unexpectedly in the daytime. I wish I knew how to control these moods. whonu

Can you teach me to be in this style of poetry?
