The Green Car

Updated on July 18, 2012

Nursing the pain from my wound

Thinking of the stars above

A green car pulled over

She waved from the driver’s seat

A hand shinning like the stars

Watching the pretty lady on the wheel

Thinking of Angels here on Earth

Wondering if there will be a conversation

Her voice soft and sweet

With eyes full of grace

Tales about the Angels of God

She seems like one missing in Heaven

Wondering what a damsel my eyes behold

But the green car has to go

Like petals of roses from above it drove away

Oh green car

Drive back again

Oh green car

The driver is a god

Like an Angel simply in disguise
