"The Halloween nightmare of Becky Lynn Todd"Part # 2

Even though, Becky Lynn had a horrific nightmare the night before, she still awaken feeling rested and refreshed.

Becky Lynn got up the next morning washed up, dressed and went down for breakfast before school. That's when Mr.and Mrs Todd told her that they didn't want her going to the Halloween party, because of the lack of adult supervision. Becky was so disappointed that she left before she finished her breakfast. She ran out the house and slam the door behind her. Becky met with her friend Mary Lou, at school and told her that she wouldn't be able to go to the Halloween party because of the lack of adult supervision.

So, Mary Lou came up with a plan, to get Becky Lynn out of the house on Halloween night. She told Becky to ask her parent to let her spend Halloween night with her.Since she wasn't going to the Halloween party. Becky didn't like the fact that she had to lie to her parent, in order to get out of the house. She went along with Mary Lou's plan anyway. When Becky got home from school, she asked if she could spent the night over Mary Lou's house, since she couldn't go the party, her parent said yes. They were much more comfortable with her spending the night in someone's home, instead of out in the woods with other kids acting crazy for Halloween.

Becky Lynn wasn't really happy about the party, but not lying to parent. She wanted to see what it would be like at a Halloween party, for the first time in her life. It was the day before the Halloween party and it seemed everyone was getting very excited and anxious to get the party going. The night before Becky Lynn had that same nightmare all over again and it seems that her cat Montague was always the there to bring her out of her nightmare. The next morning at the breakfast table, Mr. Todd told Mrs.Todd the sheriffs had found many dead animals that had been sacrificed and the blood had been drained form their bodies, Mrs.Todd wondered who would do such a cruel thing to the animals.

Becky Lynn was very anxious to get out of there and go to school. Her parent told her to be extra careful because of the loony tunes that's running around town killing up harmless animals. When Becky arrived at school, her friend Mary Lou was standing in a circle of people, talking about the deaths of all the poor animals that had been slaughtered in a week. After the shock of mass slaughterings of animals, everyone still wanted to go to the Halloween party, regardless of the alleged sacrifices. Mary Lou asked Becky was she still coming over to spent the night, Becky said yes.

When the last bell rang on Halloween day, Becky shot out the door, heading for home. She notice before she made it home; that she had an eerie feeling that someone or something was watching her. She start to run faster and made it safely home. A group of class mates took a bunch of decorations over to the Brimstone shack to decorate before the party. The old shack didn't need a lot of decorations because it was an old eerie looking shack anyway. They decorated the shack with spider webs, ghost, witches and goblins; the old shack it's own tattered and torn window curtains, hanging form the windows and the only things missing were the candles.

They put the candles in the windows so the light would shine through. Becky Lynn 's father dropped her off over to Mary Lou's house, where Mary was waiting to get started on their costumes for the party. Becky rang the door bell, and Mary Lou let her in. Mary told Becky she was glad she had finally made it, she told her that they had finished decorating the shack and took all the food, snacks and treats to the shack already. Mary told Becky Lynn that they only had to get ready for the party and wait for the other kids to stop by. They were all walking to the Brimstone shack together, because the woods are spooky at night.

Mary Told Becky that many years ago, the Brimstone family just up and disappeared without a trace, never to be heard of again. That little piece of information made cold chills run up Becky's spine. She tried to keep a straight face about it because she didn't want Mary Lou to think she was frighten. Becky pretended that the Knowledge about the BrimStones didn't bother her, when it really did. It was 7:00 o'clock and the Party was to start at 7:30 pm. Mary Lou dress as a women vampire, and Becky dressed as an old witch, they both looked pretty frightening, Becky thought. The door bell ranged.
