The Hard Way

Updated on January 16, 2012

I always learn the hard way, why do I always fall?

in love with women who know nothing at all

about love, about emotion,

about how a person feels inside

about how my taste in women range so far and wide

I always learn the hard way, a certain look will drop me dead

my heart that jumps without thinking,

when will I use my head

I don't know what it is

Loneliness it must be

A sucker for love

thats just me.

@ KDee, Thank you for your comments.

I had never liked poetry before until my class had to write an essay on poetry .I read William Wordsworth's " Yon Solitary Reaper" and I was hooked on rhyming. Then I found Hubpages and The words to express my feelings started to come out.

      You will soon see

      the Words of poetry

      will come out of thee

      then all the poets

      will be so happy

@ moiragalla, thank you for visiting my page

      your comments are appreciated

As you see my poetry is about the words but I love to rhyme

Lovely poem cleaner3. Isn't falling in love like that? It's all about the heart and not so much the head. The right one for you will come along one day. Don't let the experiences make you bitter. Write about them, don't fret over on what's past.

Oh this is good, only 3 weeks and look at you go. I just got my 2nd in today. It doesn't come easy for me. I've never taken an English class in my life. I don't know where the commas go. But potery in much easier.I've also got the best teachers in the World here at Hubpages.

Great read again. I especially loved this one. I've got the same problem. Good luck trying to solve it man. "why do I always fall? in love with women who know nothing at all about love". I love this line. You had me hooked from the beginning. Voted up.

eh i've been there. its like we always want the ones we cant have, or the ones that are bad for us, and the ones that are good we let slip right through our fingers. who knows what makes 2 people perfect for each other, but if its not mutual than it can not exist in that form. Love and being in love is a risk we all take in falling, in hoping the right one will catch us, sometimes they turn out to be the wrong one. and thats ok. We all go through it. You either live and learn and there really is no easy way. just the sooner you let go of things not meant to be may make the pain easier when its over.

Oh, I love the poem, but I dislike the saddness behind it. Never give up. Love usually finds one when one is not looking...Cupid's arrow tends to stike right about then.

Love is an enticing emotion or maybe more so strong feelings but everyone wants to be there experiencing it so it's not just you...always nice to see a man open up. It's like a second skin to women -smile.

Great poem Michael full of emotion as you always express. You'll find the right one one day. Don't let it get you down. You're an awesome poet.
