The Hue and Cry of Change

Updated on February 27, 2011

A drop

naught to the eye

changing everything

not in intention

the fact cant change

altering with alteration

moving its fellows by degrees

judgement changing in tandem

a fresh pallet for the eye

blank slate

but not far enough

still another drop

another movement

another decision to muddy

rippling faster then desire

but once the drop descends

the desire to change what was once unchanged

is nullified.

The hue of decision

in the mind,

too much is palpable,

yet still not enough

yet fearing too much

no sense in hurry

spilling gets you far

but too far...?

move steady

check often

and move again.
