The Human Equation (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on May 15, 2015
Compassion and understanding...
Compassion and understanding...
Pillars of the human heart...
Pillars of the human heart...
So strong and resilient...
So strong and resilient...
Part of the creator's loving scheme...
Part of the creator's loving scheme...
Not to matter color of skin or religious persuasion...
Not to matter color of skin or religious persuasion...
of any state or of its nation...
of any state or of its nation...

Compassion and understanding,

To be pillars of the heart,

Belonging...that of the human equation,

All are to be a part.

Not to matter, race or what creed,

Religion, of any persuasion,

The human spirit resides in us each,

Of every state, its nation.

Helpful deeds done for goodness sake,

A reason to rejoice,

A reflection of the most human kind,

All spoken in one voice.

Colors of the skin, outward seen,

Are to be the same, within,

Every act in the name of love,

Shows the world we are a friend.

Hearts of men, so strong... so resilient,

And forever to remain,

As sure as the sun by day, moon at night,

The fall of nurturing rain.

Across the world, in every life,

A vital part, held in highest esteem,

The respect and caring of fellow man,

Our lord's visionary scheme.

I love the themes of unity, goodness and charity. I see this in so many places, yet in other places it is so obviously missing. What are we to do but to go on doing good to all. Thanks for the inspiration this morning.

Oh yes it was so beautiful whonu you have said it all. It flowed ever so gently from word to word and line to line. It sure inspired me and I had to read it again. I loved the photos too. I voted up+++, shared and pinned it.

Very nice. My take is that if we can't get along, the world will never be united, and that will be the downfall of it.

Yes...for every positive there are many negatives...yet sometimes all that is required is just one voice, one person to stand and encourage others...thanks my friend. whonu
