The Infectious Mind

Updated on January 25, 2011

Eye to eye

seeing as seen

a cause to share

a world to clean

the will to speak

the will to hear

passion passed on

torches lit in the dark

but not out of fear

with purpose one shares

each person knowing their part

yet the source is aware

what dwells in the dark

worried without cause

or with cause

but the truth unknown

it was their fault

the flame was their own

passed from self to self

the fire spreads

looking upon it with a certain dread

yet nothing can change

ideas must grow

the work goes on

others must know

so silence envelopsĀ

cloaked in the dark

mesmerized by the flicker of his torch

it still burns in the night

wonder who next might come by

seeking a work to do in the night

then one more will be lit

nothing to do but to do

so on the source goes

with dimmed and cloaked aprehension

awaiting the next to come by.

JFrost, been away a few days so just got to this post.

Yes, a bright enough light can't be hid can it?
