The Innocent, Wronged

Updated on April 19, 2013

A Prayerful poem.

Participation,

Innocence lost, in actions,

Forced to be a part,

By angry twisted factions.

Preciousness, once held,

in the hand of sweetness, fair.

Destroyed by the few,

The many fell, in despair.

Our hands, folded now,

raised to heaven, in prayer.

A forgiveness asked,

We people, for all, do care.

Thank you James. We have got to take a look at the whole picture sometimes in order to get the proper perspective and make the right choices in our outlook in life. Thanks again for stopping by. whonu

Very beautiful and nicely put.It saddens me to see people fighting each others over worldly things,on things so passing and trivial. What a vanity we human seek!Fraternity is much more worthy and precious.I voted up.

Humanity has a great deal to learn. Some realize the implications of coldness and evil, but there are a few that are hard to detect in the stream of life.

Your lines as well as your pictures paint the picture of darkness with a glimmer of light still visible. Hoping that our prayers take us back to the light and reveal what else individuals can do to help the situation. Thanks for painting a difficult situation so beautifully.

Let's raise our hands in prayer for the victims of the attack, who. At least the perpetrators have been apprehended and the police force of Boston made a strong statement in the way they were caught. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Faith reaper. I reacted in a hostile manner to begin with after the attack, yet after much thinking came to the realization that we as a people, cannot be full of hate, and more of understanding and prayer for us all. whonu

Yes, whonu, let all raises our voices in prayer. I will never understand how or why man does what he does to fellow men. We're supposed to be the highest on the chain of evolution. Animals kill for food. Why does man kill man? And worse, why does man kill children?
