Inner Experience

The Beauty of The Soul is Best Expressed in?

Eyes turned inwards towards Heaven,

Life-Energy a melody of my rhythmical breath,

I peered into the ether and saw them,

From the profundity of my tranquil state.

Waves dancing like butterflies,

Candles flickering in waltz to my Delight,

Sweet Love descending like fireflies,

Glowing in the darkness, to illuminate my life.

Rainbows encircling, like an enchanting aura,

In enthralling serenity, to embrace my solitude.

O Love, how can I ever repay Thy priceless Bliss?

Your inner resplendence knows no parallel!

Who can describe the lustre of Thy matchless Pearl?

Your glimmer radiates, on a birthless journey in my psyche,

While the Soul, in an ecstatic thrill,

Sits at the dining table of Your Majesty,

Devouring Your sweet Nectar, in rhapsody supreme!

As one entering a darkened room,

Slowly adjusts to the glowering Light,

So too, I have adapted to the rays of Your brilliance,

Shining in my heart.

O Beauty Immaculate!

Wondrous are the ways of my Beloved!

My Besotted replenishes the reservoir of my spirit-dome,

A Gate-keeper’s lantern, to find my way Home.

This is such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful person and hubber, Nithya Venkat. And who else but you could have done justice to it.

I have read your earlier tribute poems to hubbers, including myself and each time I am amazed to see your choice of words and how you weave them into a soulful and peaceful poem

Hats off to you. Thanks and voted up!
