The Lament Of a One Armed Man

Updated on November 10, 2012

Now the past

but aches in memory

as I slumber

waking in pain

cut off from you

by the discomfort

awkwardness I couldn't bare

typing with one

too onerous to stand

perhaps a little sheepish

because you weren't enough

to drive

to keep me effusing regardless

not to express

one peck at a time

I am in hope however

not forgotten

still relevant

Regardless I'm faithfully

every yours.
