The List of Who's Who
My name, my real name,
What is it you might ask?
Georgie has to be a nickname, yes?
It is, for my beloved Grandad George.
It’s what his closest friends called him,
And what I named my teddy
He gave me when I was seven.
When I was diagnosed with epilepsy.
Georgie is a loving, fun and friendly name,
Just as he was too.
My name though, my real name,
It’s Louise, but people call me Lou.
My Grandad though,
He called me Blue.
My name is just a name,
Search a book for baby girl names,
There I’ll be, in the list of L’s.
But who am I?
I am me; unique, imaginative,
Plain, but extraordinary, I am Georgie,
I am Louise, I am Lou, I am Blue.
I am just me.
