The Lonely Woman

Updated on January 21, 2012

The lonely woman sits at home

While her husband goes to visit his friends

It is Friday night.

She doesn't want to be alone.

This is a pretty regular thing for her.

He goes to visit his friends.

Sometimes he asks her if she wants to join them.

Sometimes she does, but usually she doesn't.

She enjoys the peaceful, quiet time at home by herself.

It is what makes her relax

And makes her do the things she loves to do the most.

For tonight, she wants to write about things.

She wants to envision herself in a different world,

One she can only go to when she writes.

For that, she needs complete peace.

So tonight, the lonely woman feels that

Even though she feels lonely

She can go to her favorite world

Through her writing.

She conjures up magic, mystique and wondrous dreams

Writing about fiction, fantasy and life in general.

She weaves these stories so that the reader feels that they are immersed in them.

She wants to portray that she can be a great storyteller.

She adds in dragons, knights, romance and power;

Also love, conflict and sadness.

Everything rolled into one story to make one exciting read

Making the reader want to read more and have the story never end.

She hopes to have accomplished that in her writing,

And hopes you, the reader, would have wanted to read more.

She plans to continue this saga

So please stay tuned for more exciting reads!

      Oh Rani,

This woman is by no chance a lonely woman, dear.

She has her powerful pen and her imagination running as powerful as a race

      beautiful read indeed!
