The Lord Is Just A Prayer Away

Updated on April 11, 2012

The Lord Is Just A Prayer Away

How many times in your time of living

Have you had trouble through the day?

Oh, the pain that we all have suffered

Needlessly, with help just a prayer away.

How many times you thought it hopeless,

All of the plans you had carefully made.

How many times did you need an answer?

Then you went on your knees and prayed.

A simple prayer was all that was needed

To take away all of the grief, hurt or pain.

Then you could rise up and thank The Lord.

You could really smile and be your self again.

Sometimes God's help is just a prayer away.

If you would just go humbly on your knees

He would hear and answer your hearts cry.

At the sound of His Name the devil flees.

Satan won't stay if he knows Jesus is near

The devil and his demons know Jesus well,

The Father and Son are their greatest fear.

They will be sent to a fiery place to dwell.

Jesus is trying to rescue all that He can,

He knows He will return, the devil does, too.

You can have one master,Jesus or Satan,

Which will it be?You decide ,It's up to you ..

If you choose Jesus,He's not hard to find.

He is near to you ,He is just a prayer away.

He'll forgive the past , things you have done.

He will dwell in your heart if only you will pray!

All of the signs we see every day seem

to point to His returning in the very near

future ,We must all prepare and try to get

our loved ones in. We think this earth is a

bad place now but it will be so much worse

then, It is kind of hard to imagine that it

could be much worse but it will , Now is the

time to pray!!

The Lord is always with us and we can talk to Him anytime but it shouldn't be only when we need HELP but

also when we need to THANK Him for all He has done for us and our Family and Friends. We need to also thank Him for answered prayers even if He answered, "No," because He sees the future and knows what we need. Love, Tessie

Seven days without prayer makes one weak. I have that on my refrigerator. Prayer releases anxiety. Knowing that your problem is in his hands is a great comfort. AD

Thanks for the reminder of how near God is. You think we'd always remember as much as we need Him. You rightly said that the sound of His name makes a world of difference in our day.
