The Lucky Winner of 'The Bachelor' - A Limerick

Updated on April 1, 2013

The woman who gets the last rose

Does get quite a prick, I suppose

Who would want a gent

The night before spent

Kissing a different lady's toes?

This is hilarious. Have you ever thought of writing a series of poems like this for different reality shows? I've never heard of anyone else doing that and I think your poetic views of them would be great

This is exactly how I feel about the people on that show. Who wants to be the last one - the one who's left after all the others who went before her? Yuk! :)

Just awesome! You said what everyone else was thinking -- only you're a lot more clever with your wording.

Yes, but even as I condemn the show, I have to admit, it's one of those things where I've watched it and been so upset that I've been yelling out loud, and yet, it's like a train wreck - hard to take your eyes off!

Thanks summerberrie. I wrote three limericks in quick succession a few weeks ago - my first. It's fun!
