The Man with the Naked Skin

Writing is a way for me to relax and release energy. I express my feelings in songs or poetry.

A Mad Person

Source

Introduction

Various records of how God created human beings exists in various cultures and religion. But all agreed that Cod created man perfect, a human being with certain limit. Christians agreed that man is created "a little lower than angels." But that man is "crown with glory and honor" far above the angels. This is because angels were created to render service to both God and man Psalm 8.

Man has free will to make a choice. Eventually, he chose to rebel, evidence of his mad state. Rebels everywhere were regard as mad persons.

Naked Skin

"Who told thee thou hath naked?"-King James Bible

Created with a Healthy Mind

It was Juvenal who coin the words:"mens sana in corpore sana." This is always translated a "healthy mind in a healthy body." It was mostly apply in the physical exercise world. This to encouraged us to stretch, exercise, do sporting and physical activities regularly. This to keep the body and mind strong and healthy. The "perspective of insanity can be seen as poor health of the mind, not necessarily of the brain as an organ(although that can effect mental health), but refers to defective processes such as reasoning."

No creative person can created a detective item. A potter will strive to create a perfect pottery. This for master showmanship. But in reality, that hardly happen. Nevertheless, he tried to be his best to excel. God who is perfect did not created a defective being. The wrong chose lands one in trouble.

Influence

It is significant that those we walk, associate, and move with can influence our acts, habit, character, destiny, and life. It is therefore not surprising that when the first created Adam man was friendly with his God, the earth and its entity was perfectly in harmony and paradise. But then the unfortunate happen out of the blues as we would say.

Our friend Adam began to be more intimate with a complete stranger. But the stranger is enemy to God. The stranger or Satan incite Adam to walk against God. Why? Adam would be more independent, whereas Adam knew all things were at his disposal. The dire is cast. Rebellion released. In the corporate world, such incident can result in the lost of job, position, authority, down grading, pay cut, or criminal prosecution.

The Man with the Naked Skin

He came naked.

A created being perfect.

Unique.

Like His God.

A body glorious.

A naked body.

They were two.

Each a dual.

The man and his woman-wife.

Both naked before the Sun!

The man and his woman wife.

Not ashamed under the heavens.

In the presence of their God, creator, and angels.

He and his wife were a duality.

A being to decide.

Right or wrong.

Not a neutral gear.

But he was mad.

A man with a will.

A rebellious being.

He rebel against his God and creator.

The man is mad.

The man with the naked skin.

Compos Mentis

This is soundness of mind. And the opposite of "non compos mentis" which we talk above. Here a wrong reasoning, decision, and act that affect the mind brought adverse effects. I have seen persons lost sanity when their do not reason correctly after a long interval of time.

Mad can be used in a positive sense to denote a person who is " highly unique, passionate, or extreme," and zealous for a good cause. "Paul" cried Festus, "thou art beside thyself, much learning doth made thee mad." Acts.26:24.

"Ideas, beliefs, principles, desires, personal feelings, attitudes, or their proponents' can also be described as mad according to Wikipedia.

State of mad

"Paul, thou art beside thyself. Much learning doth make thee mad."-Festus

Walking Naked

Have you seen persons walking naked? I have time and again. They is no doubt that their are out of their mind and insane. Here I am not referring to swimmers and holiday makers at the beach or water fronts. No reasonable being or person can walk stack naked in the glare of the public without a piece of clothing. Those that put on clothes are dirty and a sight. they eat out of the refuse bin. The Gadara mad man was dirty and violent, so that he had to be put in chain.

He choice to live in the cemetery and in the wilderness, day and night. A thing that no intelligent man can attempt. He was always moving from one dirtiest and unfriendly environment to another Luke 8:26-29. While in the city he had to be chained due to his violent nature. But he break free and depart to the wilderness.

Conclusion

A mad person has not the mentality to make the right decision, He or she is extremely on the wrong side. When Adam cried out that he was naked, and hide himself-a cry for help and healing, His God had to clothed him with some sense. Gen.3:9-10. 21. No real intelligent being can do that to his fellow.

Brenda, thanks for the visit and the read. You wonder how life would be if this had not happen. My answer is that the man would have sinlessly represent us before God. Sickness, old age, choas, death, and other calamitie that is razing the world sholud not be known. Thanks again.

Your poem describes the deceit adam fell into in the beginning.

I often wonder what our lives would be like if this had not happened.

      Madness does exist.

I do believe though that if one walks with God...he has no reason to be ashamed.

      Nice write.

Rajah, thanks for the visit, the read, and the brain storming comment. In the Bible, future king David had to feign mad in other to save his person. You singer guy must be in his shoes. Nevertheless, any real man person must be at the mercy of their God and creator. Thanks again Rajah, friend and enjoy your day.

I appreciate your take on madness and mad people. I have certainly seen a popular Indian singer who acted mad or crazy almost all the time but was enormously gifted in the art of playback singing for movies and is counted as one among the top 3 playback singers to date.
