Night we couldn't get home

We headed to the coast, to see what we could see

The beauty of nature.

the fun we had in the sun

I wondered God was shining on me.

The day was great

we all had fun,

the beauty of nature,

and playing in the sun.

We didn’t want go

We left the beach and sunshine,

We left thinking all was fine,

Then the ugly had to come show.

It started to get dark,

We had a long way home.

The car was in trouble

We could barely get it to park.

Farmers on the way,

who would try to help.

We were to far from home,

with no place to stay.

The car was colored black,

I was afraid no one could see.

We had seen a motel not far away

My husband came got us and we went back.

We were cold and wet,

Our battery was dead.

I asked why were weren’t hit,

This is what he said

“Our car broke down where it did,

It’s was an act of God.

He had a plan“. he said

Maybe if we turned the corner,

It was God who stopped us there,

Had we gone ahead,

home was so far

“Maybe we’d been hit and dead,

“my husband” said.

I’ll never doubt my faith again,

I doubted Got was there,

Then I thought of what marc said,

I know God keeps us safe

This almost happened to us one night, and we found ppl (at 1AM) that helped us without charge. There are still some good folks out there.
