The Night of a Lark

Updated on August 6, 2016
The nightingale sings the sound of the gaping shade
That engulfs the evening light
The lark croons the morrow sun
Chasing away the darkest of night

They touch through time
At the break of morn
Their passion separated by a clock
Leaving them torn

Though the time of day may fight
Their love shall prevail
Leaving them trapped
In an emotional jail.
