Revision and Creation

Updated on November 2, 2011

Vastness of distance,

so cruelly placed

My life in abyss is

trapped in this space

The stars which surround,

create not a sound,

and lonesome, I wait

for my loss to be found

My starved, dying light,

the death of a wish

My radiance might,

her naked eyes, miss

May her sight one day fall

upon all that I am

May her heart, someday bask

in my warmth, if it can

Is the cold that encases

simply too great to melt?

Will the dark she embraces

destroy all she once felt?

I send to her, once again,

all my dreams, all my love,

hastening them with my heart’s

final breath, from above

I watch my last plea

start its journey, its flight

I surrender, finally

to my destiny’s plight

101 ways to live

101 ways to die

101 ways to pass through life,

and never be alive

Shall it be in pain,

unable to breathe,

holding in despair?

How long will you suffer,

inhaling poisoned air?

The air is toxic, indeed,

polluted by our placement

on a planet defaced by

worthless human needs

We are born…

Into power, enter life

Out of time, exit, death

We kneel before

the hourglass,

though we secretly

plot against it

We bow to what

controls us,

but quietly seek

our vengeance

We see it

and we covet

We steal it,

then we damn it

It transforms,

into a weapon

We curse this

We face the blade,

for the sake of them

We pay with our blood,

so that they may live

If you listen in silence,

our screams will be heard

We are the martyrs,

the wretched of Earth

What is it for?

I tell you,

for nothing.

When will it end?

Keep praying,

for ceasing

Could this be my vengeance?

It cannot be, for her pleasure is only growing,

and my hatred is losing intensity

Her trembling body, once my altar,

has become the means to my retribution,

as my desire consumes us in perspiring fire

This desire does not only belong to me,

for she dreamed of this moment, in the darkness

that even her subconscious could not conceive

Our hearts race in unison,

bringing back memories of the passion we knew

before the longing transitioned to dread

I was forced to watch her change,

along with myself, as our fantasy was pulled

down a path that neither of us could ever expect

Our lust, to love, our love, to death,

we drowned together, engulfed by liquid flame,

in such unforgiving waves of regret

I think that I was caught in the myriad of emotions, they were expanding and intensified by each passing second, gradually consuming me whole. It's an interesting feeling, like you can't control it, it just pulls you in like a merciless vortex. Awesome poems, I love them =)
