The One True Path

Updated on June 15, 2012

Gives Comfort and Peace

From whose way must I move
From whose path must I stray
For my feet are alighted
On the path of truth
The short and narrow way
If I stumble from it
Where will my life go
Where will I live my days

No I must travel the path
Though times may be tough
Days may be filled with strife
For the war rages around me
Only on the true path
Will I find comfort and peace

From whose path should I move
Surely not God's
His way is truth
His way is safe
His way leads to life
His way is justified
His way is the only way
I must go

Your poem is very inspiring and thought provoking. When I read it, I feel I am not the only one who is muddling through life, through the terrible things around me, through surrounding of the superficial life many lead. While reading this, my beliefs are wakened, shaken up, ready to resume the path I once led. Thank You.
