The Opening Sky (a poem of greatest inspiration)

Updated on June 17, 2015
Look up...for the Lord has left his gift...
Look up...for the Lord has left his gift...
A most magnificent spectrum of unbelievable colors...
A most magnificent spectrum of unbelievable colors...
Take heart..is a symbol of his care and devotion...
Take heart..is a symbol of his care and devotion...
A statement in beautiful renderings of his adoration and an accentuation...
A statement in beautiful renderings of his adoration and an accentuation...
for...as the evening light to wain...lose its vivid focus...
for...as the evening light to wain...lose its vivid focus...
We are assured this... by the dawning skylight...an even more spectacular sign of his love...this acclamation!
We are assured this... by the dawning skylight...an even more spectacular sign of his love...this acclamation!

Though times may be stressful...the worst, hardest on backs and minds,

Take heart...see the restful... a moment of solitude, an opening in the sky.

When tomorrow seems impossible to come...worries try to get you down,

Look to the rooftops...above the trees...grand beauty you'll see...by and by.

There is an answer for every question...we'll all find in the clouds up above,

Just to pause...take a moment to see... the greatest reflection of God's love.

We'll find such a retreat...in this we're complete...a grandeur, ours to behold,

There every ray.. and of.its molecular gold...before our very eyes, to unfold.

Our feet to walk and make fondest tracks...in our time lived upon this fine earth,

Yet, a balancing treat...our eyes to meet...we find in the sky...one of such worth.

Our Lord has told us to look for him...not on the soil, but in the most beautiful sky,

As we say each prayer..does help us to bare...to overcome in our toil...if we but try.

As we see the sunshine, its filtered spectrum... a marvelous patterning in the heights,

Colors of a most thrilling rainbow...to raise our hopes, giving solace...in its fine sights.

We accept in our most heartfelt thoughts...such beauty to rock the world..its foundation,

This most wondrous gift of the creator...the magnitude of its grace...a divine declaration.
