The Other Half of Man

Updated on May 25, 2012

Like a white, pink and blue kitten,

something so beautiful.. to behold

Woman.. was created in heaven

in the Book.... it was told.

I love women, why, because...

they are the other half of man

from a rib they came...

no...not out of a can.

Just a flower. in the morning

a soulmate, a friend.

always there with love .....

all the way till the end.

She is stong as a mountain...

onto him she will hold

to keep him warm and solid

when he is so cold.

To give love and only wanting..

a true love in return

thats what women want....

live for and yearn.

So if you have found... a woman so true

keep her happy... never make her blue.

Remember she's not just something ...

you get in a can.

She is a woman... the other Half of a man.

How perceptively beautiful. We are the other half of man just as man is the other half of woman! Voted up.

I 200% agrees with you Michael. A woman is not a can , she was taken from a man's ribs... so very true..that's why men wake up..pls don't harm a woman , she is weak ,she is meant to be love and not to be hurt.

I loved this piece. . This line strike me..I love women, why, because...

they are the other half of man

      from a rib they came...

      no...not out of a can.

Beautifully expressed my friend. I totally agree with KatrineDalMonte, I couldn't have said it better myself. Complete is the word of choice when two find each other and stay together for life.

Michael, this is beautiful. I think any man is 'complete' when he has the right woman by his side. Just like any woman is with the man she truly loves.

Hey, I was 12 years old. I actually put two ballons in my shirt. I had quite the imagination then, in fact I obviously still do.

What a wonderful tribute to women. My wife is a wonderful woman. Mosttimes it's like sharing one soul, when one half hurts, both sides cry.

Annie, my lovely follower, thank you annie for your support.

yes, i try to show and write how all women should be cherished and have self esteem. i have seen to many young girls with low self esteem, let themselves be taken advantage of. You are a woman who can can show them what being a woman really means, Annie, you are special.

      Cleaner3,

Now that is a winner---when it touches my heart---then I know you have the Zenith of a poem.

Micheal, write your book soon so many other women can read about how a man can know the essence of a woman.

I would buy a book of your poems, and so would many others.

      Your Hub Friend,

      Bobbi

Beautifullly said, cleaner3...you have an inside line on the heart of women. We do love to be cherished...we are not toys and are not objects...we are fully comprehensive, total human beings. And, you've sweetly described a big part of who we are...if allowed to be. thank you. UP Beautiful, Awesome
