The Pain of Zayleen

Updated on September 7, 2012

I read your words .. Zayleen

so full of Pain

all thick and wet....

like a cold, cold rain

Your passion abounds ...

from feelings hurt

vicious.... statements

words used so curt

Love is deep....

buried..... somewhere in there

trying to look out

with a frozen stare

Your tortured soul

is crying out from the deep...

cold and broken...

there it weeps

Let it out...Zayleen.

remove the pain

Love will bloom.....

once more again

Turn the Passion

into a flame...

free your soul

Zayleen Pain

Wonderful poem Michael. She's a lucky girl having a friend like you, and I hope she finds healing and peace. You, my friend have such a warm heart and boundless empathy...you are truly a poetic soul. love you....take care.

I read this every day and brings a smile to my pained face. I think of you every time i sit alone trying to write and the words flow freely as i admire the kindness you have bestowed upon a perfect stranger . We are poetically binded from this point on in my mind. Thank you a million times over my friend .

The pain is deep for Zayleen. It is hard to trust again once you have been so badly hurt. Those photos are dramatic but really make the point well.

Zayleen, I tried to express what you write. your words of pain and sorrow come from deep inside and that is the best poetry written when you make the reader feel your pain. you are a young and talented poet Zayleen. I am humbled by your praise. I can only give you the recognition for giving me the inspiration to write you a poem. Keep writing for the best is yet to come from you.

How lucky is Zayleen to have a tribute poem from you Michael. It can be difficult to move on after love but after a beautiful poem like this, I bet it takes some of the edge off it. You are a true artist my friend.

Profound write here! Some like to remain in that pain as that is all they know and actually where they feel most comfortable, but there is hope here for her to be set free, truly. Voted Way Up In His Love, Faith Reaper
