The Peach Sunset

Updated on November 8, 2014

The passive water of a cool mountain stream could not pass into my heart that day,

As the warmth from the sunset maintained my body,

It kept my attention as I felt, if I were to turn away, the day would turn to grey,

And the beauty of the moment would flee,

When I look forward, I see devotion of life,

In the past, I saw the dawn of a prepossessing wonder,

My thoughts were engaged by the graceful dim light,

Am I the only soul to catch this moment, as if I was its chooser,

My presence has become captive of the most beautiful moment I have ever met,

The Peach Sunset.

That was so delightful to read Kelvin. I was able to feel the warmth of the sun as I read it since the day here is gray at the moment, but your words and the photos, all that I can say is that they are lovely. I voted it up and shared. I was going to pin it but it will not load, I will return for that.

Beautiful poetry, Kelvin. Equally mesmerising are the photographs. Thanks for sharing.
