The Perfect One

The Sculpture

My Perfect Love

My Perfect Love,

You are the world that dares the mind to dream of love and of a life I, had only hoped for. The sparkles in your eyes gives life to this heart making it flutter with each twinkle seen in those gorgeous eyes. Your lips are so perfect and passionately enticing that this man would dare to kiss them with reverent desire.

What master has lent his brush such elegant beauty? Was it, Michael Angelo that sits in heaven blending warm colors that produced the beauty you are? Was it, Leonardo da Vinci, which stood by Michael Angelos’, left side and suggested the soft, warmth of your brown hair that melts a man’s heart? Did Rafael Sanzio de Urbino stand on the right side and suggest your lovely visage? The Trinity of Great Masters certainly created the masterpiece that is you.

With their masterful painting in hand, Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi or Donatello, carefully chiseled your perfect form from the finest marble creating his greatest masterpiece in the form and beauty he has given you. When his work was completed, God looked upon the stone and with a gentle breath, gave you life.

Then, God smiled for the perfection the masters had wrought. Every color, every shape was exquisitely beautiful. With a slow wave of his hand, he made subtle-little changes and then he declared you perfect. As God and the masters stood and watched, their work was, given life here on earth.

Years later, a man whose fortune and luck had run out, found you. Miguel de Cervantes had lent his poetic spirit to the humble man, a humble poet, and writer. Born a hopeless romantic, he sought the one that could capture his heart with the beauty of her soul.

Fate smiled one day and brought the perfected beauty and the lonely heart together. She stood there, excited and nervous barely able to look at him. He stood there and longed to look into her eyes. She looked at him but only briefly and yet, her simple glance was enough to burn her visage into his heart. That one look made him crave her with unbridled desire. His mind raced for any excuse he could conjure just to touch her but his mind failed for he feared being to forward.

Time has passed and he still loves her, the perfect work of the masters. Every moment he can seize to look into her eyes he gladly takes for he loves her with a love that remains undying and never ending.

You are this work of the masters and the gift from God I have longed for all of my life. Your eyes own this soul, and your heart, owns this love and forever, this love is yours. From the moment we met, I knew you would be the one I would share my life with, forever. Fate brought us together, love has bound our hearts, and God has given us eternity.

Stay with this, man who will love you, forever and forever will I, be yours.

Always Yours,

Hi Rhonda,I'm really glad you enjoyed The Perfect One. I really love writing love letters. Throughtout the course of my life, I have written a lot of love letters with no one to give them to. I simply wrote them because I enjoyed daydremaing about having someone to love that much.

Hi Shyla's Nana...I really do enjoy writing romantic love letters when I find time. Still, they remind me of the verse from, Knights in White Satin, by the Moody Blues, "Letters I've written, never meaning to send."

Writing is something I enjoy to do and to share. Thank you for reading, The Perfect One
