The Recipes of Creation

Updated on January 27, 2013

The Recipes of Creation

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

I am man, I am women, and I am animal, rock and air.

Fashioned of the same essence of life, the same building blocks,

I am everything, in every state, stable, unstable and in flux.

I am animate, inanimate, conscious and without the capacity of thought,

Yet I am the same, I am the life within life, combined in endless patterns.

Minute particles, planets and systems of being beneath the crust of comprehension,

living breathing life layered to the recipes of creation,

the endless metamorphosis within the ebb and flow of reality.

From every perspective life is life; it casts no shadow, it is all encompassing.

Those beings given the gift of reason claim sovereignty,

diminishing life in all other forms by the arrogance of ignorant will.

The essence and spark alive and transcending the illusion of death,

it glows and trails and flows outward like colliding stars,

like flashes of luminescent light, multicoloured with intrinsic beauty.

Every particle of dust, sand, earth and water eclipsing the falsehood of emptiness,

and bursting forth with the miracle of life, the power and energy of creation.

Human’s see nothing of life, just a pale acceptance of their own being,

stunted and limited by their arrogant judgement and lack of understanding.

I am man, I am woman, and I am animal, rock and air.

I am a synthesis, a miracle of life just as the air I breathe,

I am everything, and yet I am nothing.

Esoteric Oreo Balls. Hmmm! When there's nothing to link to I like to get around, that's it. But the Oreo Balls do sound nice and they are part of creation? Thanks for dropping by writeronline

"God, you're quick," as the actress said to the bishop...

      Sorry Tony, couldn't resist.

I enjoyed the span and the scope of your piece. But (sorry again...) I'm a little usure of the link from "recipes of creation" to Oreo Balls..?

      Cheers

This piece really captures our insignificance in the grand scheme of things, really makes you think.
