The Reward For A Days Work

Updated on April 4, 2012

It Is Not What You Think

The wonderful world of work

It surrounds us

We are consumed slowly and over the years we have given a great part of us

That we can never get back

A piece of us is gone for good

We decide how hard we are going to work and for how long

We can move along from job to job

Then again you might just stay put

Testing our skills and challanging our knowledge

Many people end up doing the job they are best suited for

That they feel comfortable with and having a good rapport

Sure we have our bad days

They are only minor and soon are forgotten

People have many reasons to stay at a job

For the love of money

Fulfill their pasion

Give them something to do

To get health insurance

Exra spending cash

Pay off many bills

To socialize and make friends

But my bottom line is ...

I work on a job to the best of my ability

My reward is a job well done

One that I can look back and say

I am as proud or more proud today for doing that job

My personal best is always good enough

daisyflowrs We put the hours in and learn everything we can.So one day we will have more time to do all the things we want and then some.raciniwa I get so focused on work I forget everything else.I am learning to be more well rounded and moderation is the key.All work and no play makes for a real sad and boring day.Find the things you love to do.Then make those things into a job that we can go to every day and get paid.Thanx so much and we can always learn to do better with less stress and have more fun than we ever imagined.

daisyflowrs How about a remote the elderly can do easily.Less buttons and talks to them at the same time.So they don't have to see what they are doing. Now we can both make millions!!!!I doubled up on my medicine. It should wear off by morning.

I know I will win the Mega-Millions! Oh, I don't play the lotto. I am going to invent something that turns on the television and you don't have to get up to change the channels. This is huge! I'm going to make millions! Don't tell anyone!!!! I think I forgot to take my meds...ha!!!

Dim Flaxenwick It hurts me so to see other people lack care and effort. Then I realized just maybe they might watch me and in some strange way their own thoughts might change to do something better and with more pride. Then again more ften than not it doesn't change but I play pretend in my head and make believe they did.So I congratulate them anyway.I say keep up the good work it shows.I know what I did and that is all that really matters.Thanx so much and may the Easter bunny leave the biggest chocolate bunny.Enough chocolate for the whole neighborhood to share.

Hmmm....my reward isn't like this. I never stop working so I don't get a reward. Oh, I am lying, when I pick up my son, that's my reward! I can't think of anything better than that! Great hub!
