The Right to Things

Updated on October 27, 2010

It seems

I must act

not react to a verse

Answer for my answers

verse what I thought

to acquire a thing

is as sacred to me

as what is done for good or for ill

t'is agency

If some t'will shout down

anything as too much

I will say what have you to judge?

Where will you put limits

on what to do or not

if they have means

why not?

Perhaps in places remote

you saw what need was

saw clever good men

write proverb or verse

that twisted your understanding

of what people do

when they look in the mirror

not finding the real them

do you know the real you?

What then of Decadence

garish or greed

How much is too much?

wherein do we bleed?

I say it matters not

what is done for oneself

so long as there is

something given

to the Food closet shelf.

Let those with things do

what ever they please

so long as they do

for those who live on their knees.

There I have said it

I care not to say more

There you have read it

now call me a bore.

Perhaps but I don't feel it to be a necessary evil but our evil that makes it necessary.

The golden rule looks good on paper. reality is another matter. "morality is a man made creation. Our primal instinct will always be our first consideration. :)
