Every night is followed by a day and the rising sun marks that day. The first few rays of the sun penetrate the night and soon the night fades away. Although the rising sun is a natural phenomenon, it has many metaphorical meanings.

People who faced the problems or got hurt, physically or psychologically, last night; for them the rising sun might bring an end to their sorrows or the persisting pain.

People who wanted to meet both ends but were not successful; for them the rising sun will allow to begin a new start after their continuous failure.

For students who want make their carers and live up to expectations of the parents; the rising sun marks the D-day as they get ready for their exam after night-long study.

For many working day-in day-out for some recognition or achievement; with the rising sun might see the fruits of their efforts they have put in for days, weeks, month and years.

A wife beaten up by a drunkard husband anticipates the rising sun might bring end to the atrocities she faces.

Having a standard of living is the dream of every individual; the rising sun provides hope to few people that oppressed life will change today.

The elderly bed-bound people who have not slept for the whole night count another day of being alive with the rising sun.

For the near and dear ones who have lost someone close to their heart last night; the rising sun means the end of the grief.

The rising sun not only marks the beginning but is demarcates the end as well. People travel many miles to reach the spot from where they can see the rising sun, and as soon as sun rises their travelling plans take them back home; the end of their journey. A beautiful party at the beach side comes to an end with the rising sun. Those romantic conversations start getting over; when lovers wanted time to stop. The rising sun also brings the first honeymoon night to an end. Rising sun changes the coolness and rest of night into the heat and restlessness of the day. The rising sun brings end to the sleep and consequently to the dreams that you were seeing for the next day.

What does the rising sun means to you?

The rising sun is the symbol of the moving ahead in the life. You have to give up all pains and parting of the past to start afresh. It is also symbolic of courage that everyone should have to be upfront to all the challenges life poses.
