The Siren Song

The Siren Song

Out of nowhere you come back to me.

A whisper on the wind,

Calling to me like a siren song.

I can’t seem to resist.

I tell myself, no, it’s no good for me,

but I am serenaded, pulled into the abyss

and I find I am falling, tumbling through the darkness toward you.

My mind not able to control or think logically,

it’s my drug, your touch, your simple caress, your well placed kiss,

and I am lost, so lost in the human need for sex.

Sweet unadulterated passion………. where there is no sense of time,

or place, only the desire to be needed and satisfied.

No words to speak, it’s not about love, my body is your roadmap

that you know so very well. So you find the hills and valleys and drive me off the edge of the cliff…….. until the next time I need a fix…………

Mesmerizing words. Luckily, I'm not sailing a ship and hearing sirens whisper these words from the water below; I'd be done for. Very elegant and with a beautiful flow.
