The Sky We Know

Updated on August 10, 2017

We all can relate that sometimes we look up to the sky and throw our hands up and ask the question Why? I wrote a poem based on that feeling. That age old question. That moment in life when we feel stuck or we need answers.

Starlight

Star bright

I have a few questions I need answered tonight

Its seems

As you gleam

The answers aren’t the ones I mean

Don’t know

Where to go

Its seems I’m lost in a confused snow

Your love

From above

Its seems is all that is enough

I cry

They die

And we all ask the same question of why

We hurt

Not alert

Oh the temptations we insert

We die

Say goodbye

To eternity we become fully alive
