The Sound of Beauty (part) 1

Updated on June 17, 2017

Part 1

The sound of beauty

Runs deep through my soul

It is always the same

Yet, never grows old.

The music, the laughter,

And the magic don’t end

In the night brings me comfort

My lover, my friend.

All rolled into one—

They’re more precious than gold

And the splendor of it all

What a sight to behold.

The sound of beauty

The music, the laughter

And so too the magic

Is what I seek after.

When my time is over

And I’ve had my fill

The sound of beauty

Will be there still.

I enjoyed reading this poem. As for me, I miss working for a former employer. I miss chatting with the nice people there, and the architectural and interior design of both the workplace and the building it is in.

Awesome poem. My favorite line: "When my time is over // And I’ve had my fill // The sound of beauty // Will be there still." Very nice.
