The Sounds Of Happiness

Updated on August 19, 2016

Have A Lovely Tune

They come naturally from all ages

They each have their own unique touch

The sound may vary in pitch and tone

Sometimes they are said almost silently

Other times loud as if they were from the top of your lungs

They can be repeated over and over

Told once and remembered for years

Each time spoken they can bring a new found joy

One the young and old can appreciate

It can start with a laugh or a giggle

Then more people might join in

After awhile it could be a roar

It might calm down to soft silence

Only to pick up

As if nobody had stopped

A magic that flows in the air

It can't be seen

Told in every language

It reaches into our personality and thought process

Uncovering laughter in raw form

Gypsy Rose Lee Keep the laughter coming. The world is a nicer place when we can learn to laugh and love people a little more. Thank you so much.

You know it is odd about laughter. My hubby and I share smiles, we chuckle but rarely laugh. Then along comes a holiday like Christmas and suddenly for some reason we'll look at each other and start to laugh and then we cannot stop for a long time.
