A Far Far Better Life...

Seek the source

watch things move

see the wind blow

by the things it brings

all things work

at the core

along with the wind

from shore to shore

from the depth

to the height

everything in between

together in thought

They move with the same

what the children of the gods

will it to be

The Gods themselves

could so move

and in moving move the rest

where would be the point?

They know

what we do not

and if we cannot learn

as they already know

existence in this higher state

where reason separates us

from the ape.

with all we cannot see

and more that we do not know

but curiosity to expand

and drive us to our makers utmost reach

appreciating things as they happen

moving in tandem

perfect sync

In everything life renews itself

taking the inert

to the living extremes

in ways that man alone

cannot do.

For all we know

we must use

what has already life

to morph it to our will

if such unknown things

wait our comprehension

but existed before we did

then even with the horrors

we bring on ourselves

we might say that this world

and the plausible others

we're not made

for us to fail as we do.

Then think you on your purpose

and the better feelings

that lead you to grow

build, and form life in better patterns.

see your potential

the power to give

by reason lent to inspiration

from things already perfect in form

towards ends and solutions

improving your time by the by

morality's cares well born.

If you will allow, I beleive that the ape knows things that are kept from us on purpose but still can be found. Knowing as I do, the method won't satisfy those who will not be satisfied except by the tangible.

As for the "ps" - Hmmm, no. You'll find equal numbers of each among both. Different in different cultures but would end up even.

As for the main point - Hmmm, hmmm... Well, OK. Yes, of course, I do. If I did not want to know, I would not be spending every breathing minute looking. But that, again, is my point. I (we, us, etc) am broken because I have been taught there is something to look for.

Reason, having "brains" is what made me look in the first place. The brains of ape (in the case of your poem) however, are un-broken (pure?) as they don't know to look. And that is what I long to, and that is what I believe (at this moment) to be right.

You know very well I am not giving definite answers to questions of life here - it's just thinking, dancing with the words and the thoughts, those of reason.

Hehe, Isadora, I knew it would tempt you to comment,

      I have not, my dear

      spoken but to reply

my own vision is not for here

      I allow much

      but cannot deny

      that I must also differ

      in what is confirmable

      what is capable to see

      what is possible to hear

yet to prove it wouldn't serve

would rob of the chance to grow

      but there is a reason

why my words oft bring solace to you

for I know what you think you cant

but secretly you want to know

      understanding the vibe

      my words bring

      you know that I know.

P.S. I don't hold men as much better just a different vice supreme. Men are more apt to pride which is a reflection on how they hold their self image and impose it on others. Women to vanity and how they create an image that entices others to see what a women wants you to see. these are not hard and fast but seem to me to bear statistical weight.

It is the point of view on "the supreme" that we share different opinions on. And we all can have our opinions, without true confirmations. Which, kinda was my original point. Why bother trying to figure it out if we can just live instead?

"but to say that the ape had it right

      seems to declare

that we should exist to appreciate

and not meddle with the seemingly perfect"

      - Yup, that is exactly what I was "declaring" :)

"Especially women" - oh cmon, Master JF, cmon...

      SilentReed- I feel your despair

I only wish I could acquiesce to it

      my hope is in myself

as yours can be in you

      extinction happens

      when all men give up

I cannot fault how you see it

      in so doing

I would make myself a hypocrite

yet even so and not withstanding

      having cause as we do

      I must hold

      that in one heart

exists enough to change their reality and maintain it

      keeping chaos at a distance

      the more that will hold

      seeking the better part

and if such will come together

      resisting being spread

      then that world will grow

      until the shadows flee.

      No Zionist twattle this

      peace doesn't require conformity

      only understanding

      and mutually willed

      stretching for the sublime.

IsadorasThought- much as I care and respect your opinion I must differ.

      the Supreme, to be so,

      must not be vain

as vanity of its own is a flaw

that causes men and especially women

to set at each other's throat

      you might say,

      "what of that?"

but to say that the ape had it right

      seems to declare

that we should exist to appreciate

and not meddle with the seemingly perfect.

      If the supreme,

(call he or she what you may)

desired but to have his or her work admired

then vanity belongs as their purpose

this fault most present in human kind

is without doubt not supreme or sublime

At the core of the unseen

      Divine will beyond mortal's grasp

      Sublime consciousness

a nutty concept, rejected by most

in a world of material existence

      Science and technology, seek

not understanding but conquest of nature

"We are gods" say the foolish,

      the blind leads the blind

      morality? not nature's but man-made,

      tailored for our extinction

      "where reason separates us/from ape"

Without that reason, we would not try to find the wind by the things it blows but would be experiencing the wind itself.

Appreciating what is by not appreciating at all. But for real.

Apes had it right before they turned to
