The Spinning Wheel of Time

Updated on October 1, 2012

The wheel of Time

Spinning round and round

Smashing and crushing over the world

Uninterrupted, unbound !

Big or small, good or bad

Each and everything confined with Time

As a truth, Live to their own destiny!

Mean and great are the shades of Time

Good and evil are the roles combine

One who is considered as noble today,

Who knows, becomes a devil some day ?

Then, every limit is crossed

The inviolable remains no more a taboo!

One faulty, observed as the worst

With time, transforms into the best

Meek, humble and mean today

Becomes a Super power another day

Seeks all the glories and recognition all over!

This has been going on since time uncountable

History has repeated itself, again and again

Time engulfs everything , small or great

All those privileged and widely acclaimed

In the folds of time are lost, Ideals and saints

The unconquered conquerors, Lords and emperors

Vast civilizations are buried in the depth of Time

That has become history

And each passing moment adds to the mystery

Time has denied many concepts, beliefs and doctrines

It has proved wrong all logics and calculations, behind

Nothing in this world is Immortal, but Time

A testimonial to every creation and destruction

The only witness of all ups and downs through eras !

Time forgives not the scoundrels and the impertinence

It forgets never the helplessness under compulsion

Time is the biggest Judge, keeps an eye on every point

And rewards or punish as the case is, and its kind

Respect for Time is a must, it tolerates not any flout,

Time is the greatest of all, we have to keep it in mind!

Your poetry is a lovely way to express your thoughts on time. Our times are in God's hands, but it is up to us to use wisely what time we are given.

What an awesome poem shara! Time is a strange force, sometimes it seems to go slow, other times at the speed of light so to speak, but its something we can never conquer.

Thankyou Nell, for visiting again with your beautiful comments .. Dear, time never changes its pace & uninteruptedly goes on its regular motion path..its we who sometimes fail to come in pace with it and that results to disappoinment & regrets occassionally.

No doubt there is good and evil in the world, and today, especially, there seems to be a lot of evil. As a Catholic, though, I believe all will be judged accordingly.
