The Spirit of the Dawn: Monday's Inspiration 24
Merry Christmas, my hubber-friends. May you continue to enjoy a cheerful and joyful day, as well as a most promising tomorrow; one which is fruitful of Love and Light.
Every moment is new, each day is a new dawn. The melody of the lark we hear tomorrow, will be different from the one we heard yesterday. So let us go forth replenished, ever ready for the unseen. Let us march with vigour, praise, good will, gratitude and above all … Hope.
Hope, that seed of light within the soul of man; this tiny bird in flight that cannot be caged; this sensor of an unyielding Love, awaiting for the longing, we so much desire. Each daybreak is a virgin morn. Each second offers the potential for progress. If we think that tomorrow will the same as it is today, then improvement will be limited and fleeting.
Christmas, in that spirit, is a time for reflection, renewal, replenishment and a re-kindling of the inner fire, that sense of enthusiasm; of vibrancy and zest we once had. Let us give thanks and praise. A new day beckons us and a year of challenges and promises await from the unknown.
Dawn is ever anew, ever fresh. The green glades of the willow sings its melody, whispering a clarion call to all. “Come!” She says. “The old clock is gone! Father Time, like a thief in the night, comes only to steal, that is, if we are not awake, vigilant. Let us be ready, raise our sails and steer the ship to glory; to the vision of the unseen; the land of dreams.”
A season of good will is upon us, the spirit of service; of thankfulness, is nigh. We rise to the occasion, watch the sunrise through our window, and our Hearts are gladdened and thrilled. Such a wondrous feeling! Isn’t this beautiful! I hear the bells of laughter ringing in the Heart of man; the jubilant emotions of the many and my eyes are filled with tears of happiness.
Come! Come! Yon nightingale brings glad tidings to our souls. Chanting verses with the cuckoo bird, they whisper in secret of our tomorrows, lament our yesterdays and prepare for our ‘Now’s’, the sacrament of the present moment.
O Flame! So unique and worthy you are! No self-doubt, no fear, no feelings of anxiety, for there is a shimmering lustre in front of us. March forward, inward and upward… cry with joy! Throw away guilt and insecurity. Leap into the unknown!
Today I hear the songs of the God-man of Bethlehem; sweet Mary’s voice beckons anew with glad tidings of the life to come. The Saviour smiles from Heaven and I feel truly blessed. The inner Pilot reminds me of my eternal Home; this blessed sanctuary; this Golden Shore of the Beyond from which I came, became isolated and seek once more. Wait, my Lord… wait. I see Your gaze; the path to Jerusalem… Just let me close the final curtain. I’m coming Home once more.

Wisdom-quotes from Sri Chinmoy
"See the land her Easter keeping,
Rises as her Maker rose.
Seeds, so long in darkness sleeping,
Burst at last from winter snows.
Earth with heaven above rejoices." - Charles Kingsley
