The Story of The Flying Rockets

Updated on November 19, 2012

{ I dedicate this poem to the last pocket of resistance,Gaza.}

Sit and look,

Beyond your sight,

a land stolen

by scammers

when the father got old

and laid the shield down

with burning bruises

Look beyond NBC

to know the story of the flying rockets

The whimper

The starve

The sigh

The tears

of people taken out

by force from their homeland

Look beyond your nose

to see who desires to cause harm,

to vandalize, to wreak havoc,

to torture,to terrorize, to maim

without any sense of remorse

"Leave us alone"

"I will ,if you were humans"

Don t tell me I am lying

I made it up all to scratch the disc

and crack the codes

I am a man with a heart

Sitting in my damp empty room

Asking myself as I write this words:

Is this a nightmare never-ending

Why thin shoulders had to carry heavy bags

in search for remnants

In strange lands,

where no harmony reigns

nor flowers grow?

Was it a moral duty to solve a problem

at the expense of the others?

Don't you see it like a fly buzzing for centuries

in your room

and then you hit it away by cricket bat to Jerusalem?.

I am asking you,

the one who looks like tortoise

Get out of the shell

and face up the harsh reality

See for yourself,the truth

Don't sit on pews

with everlasting lost sheeps

listening to the trash

said about God's promise

God is fair

Never had given orders to debauch innocence

and impure the Holy Land.

Look beyond your sight

and hear beyond your ears

The planes splashing the Gaza skies

randomly hurling rockets

dropping bombs

on the bricks,kids,dogs

on the light posts decked in Christmas garb

on the petals bathed in the sunlight

The spirit so high to let down

with God, stones,slingshots,homemade rockets

They will stop the hostile trespassers

and make an other Little Big Horn victory

Anger afraid to go back inside now

Millions like wind are ready to come to empty little Pharoahs out

crawling on from every corner

breaking chains, locks,cages

Look beyond your continent

to see a thorn

in foreign dry soil

implanted by your cousins

to hinder the growing olive trees

to strangle the chirping birds

Now it is time to sit

and think out of your box

Justice for all

All the voices should be heard.

No,on the contrary,Palestinian kids who were the real victim. the Israel airplanes didnt cease bombarding Gaza and traumatizing kids.Gaza is still under besiege.Kids are dying and starving. It is a virtual concentration camp. The world should do something to save what s left.If Israel showed their kids, they are only mileage out of it and trying to gain some political points. They are smart. They succeeded once in making the whole world believe in their great lie about holocaust, but now the mask is fallen and the drama queen or the cindrella s story becomes cliche and no longer that sparkling. For the first time in history,Chinese people stood in solidarity with Gaza and I saw also that in your country stood with them as well.Happy Sunday too. Thanks for making an other tour here:)

Hello James, in response they were Israeli kids. I was watching sky news, and heard they were hit by Palestinian rockets. They showed the kids too. I think the situation has improved now. Happy Sunday.

Thanks Debbie for stopping by and commented. It is really so sad to see kids killed, disabled or orphaned by wars, ethnic cleansing..many children in Gaza are traumatized by witnessing brutal deaths and by being surrounded by violence, fear and hardship.Since 2008 they have been suffering from starvation because of the Israel besiege .The whole world are watching THE REAL HOLOCAUST,but no one dares to say Halt.

What is happening there is unforgivable crime against Humanity.

      Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful, thought-provoking poem. It was so sad to watch little kids being hit by Palestinian rockets.(Well, seeing them on the news in hospital) I heard today that there is a cease fire. I hope it's the beginning of peace.

Voted up as usual and Tweeted. :-)
