The Sweet Delight

Updated on May 5, 2016

I found myself thinking about you all night

thinking passionately till day light

I remember the smile with delight

the one that showed me life

You were the light in my life

the one that glowed so bright

but you turned off faster than I could grasp

i am simply left in a mess

because of your incapability to fetch

me and my love that wanted to catch

you and your heart with all of my desire and yearning match

to your mindset and insight

that only seemed to show me the best

but now you have left

a route that you chose for yourself

oh i wish i had such qualities for myself

I wish i would be more concerned with what is best for me as well

but based on what i have delt

i am trapped in a mess

a wicked pest

that is how i see myself

i seem to fall so easily

a shining light could blind me now,

but i know you won't return to the land that couldn't let you go

A land that wanted to feed you snow

and give room to your glow

but i am too dark..

Eventhough , i still believe that lights like you shine best in my castle..

An enchanting story

A way for a pleasant morning

Nay, a pleasant reunion.

A reunion of love?

That is another story of which you will see oneday.

A prince in a field of a faraway land..

So faraway

I wish i could see a glance

of you and i do

almost everyday i check up on you

the tears flow from time to time..

But that's alright.

I'd rather get over you on my own

Then have others steel my heart from it's home .

That would be a cheat.

A lie indeed.

I still love you.

I'll be true to myself.

Hopefully, till after what people call death.

A clever poem. It seems it would be interesting illustrated but perhaps it is a bit dark for a children's book.

Losing someone dear is always the worst kind of loss. Lovely poetry.

Oh this is so very sad. I felt the pain of lost love....
