- Books, Literature, and Writing
Tears are about to flood this day,
But I wipe them before they fall down from my eyes,
And then from you, I look away,
Cover my ears to not hear our cries.
But to cry without tears is fake,
As to say you're in love but cannot do what it takes.
I stand in the midst of uncertainty,
Believing in your so called promises,
Never did I give my faith up and yours is my loyalty,
Each night that I slumber, my dreams are full of wishes.
We are too young to die but never to love,
But my hope had flown away with the dove.
Jaded of senseless emotions,
Sick of searching for the right words to express,
Time and chance are always in slow motion,
Praying to God but how to impress
Him so He would give us the clock's hand.
Now, time's up for everything,
We're running out of lies. . .
We have to face the doors of truth. . .
And it says we're just two people living in a fantasy,
We'll never be one, that's the law of reality.
