The Dilemma - Love Poem

Updated on July 11, 2013

Striking the vast seashore,

Caressing our transient feet,

The tides roar and sing,

A song bold and sweet.

.

.

Memories of the good times,

The times when I danced and laughed,

Are still there in my mind,

But buried in sorrows and dwarfed.

.

.

The aura of happiness is my past,

Bygone a long time ago,

A feeling both nostalgic and cold,

Leaves me baffled and vertigo.

.

.

I remember the time when the air was still,

The sky was blue beyond the gallant hill,

Holding my hand, you were there,

I loved you eternally and forever I will.

.

.

The softness of your hand,

The warmth of your breath,

All drifted like the sand,

Pushing me to death.

.

.

Watching your mellow smile,

My heart started singing,

Of your beauty and my love,

Like a distant bell ringing.

.

.

You never knew what I suffered,

Nights full of cries and days searching for you,

My heart groaning everyday,

Craving for your faintest view.
