The Ups and Downs of Bubblews

What is Bubblews?

Bubblews is a website where you're allowed to openly express your views on almost anything. There are rules as to what your exactly able to write about but for the most part you can pretty much write about any topic that you'd like to write about.

Bubblews is considered to be a social media website and interaction with other members is highly recommended and encouraged. The part that separates Bubblews from the rest of the social media websites that are out there is that Bubblews actually pays you for using its website. You get a penny for every view, like, and comment on each of your posts. Once you hit $50 in your "bank" you're able to redeem the money. This money is sent to you through PayPal and most redemptions are paid within a month.

4 stars for My Bubblews rating for the website.

My rating for the Bubblews website.

I would love to give this website a 5 star rating but there are a couple of issues that I have with this website. I decided to give at least a 4 star rating because of the major improvements to the website in the past couple of months.

My main issue with Bubblews is the constant glitches and errors that randomly pop up. I'll go more into detail with this issue in a little bit but for right now the reason I'm giving a 4 star review and not a 5 star review is mainly due to the glitches this website endures a lot.

The Ups of Bubblews.

I want to now talk about the "ups" of Bubblews. I found Bubblews through the now-defunct Yahoo Contributor Network (YCN). When YCN was in the process of shutting down several people were pushing Bubblews as an alternative. I really didn't know what to expect but I ended up switching over to Bubblews as did many other people from YCN did.

Bubblews has given me the opportunity to make up for lost income. With the shut down of YCN I ended up losing the opportunity to generate most of my income. Although I'm not making as much money as YCN Bubblews has definitely helped me ensure that I am able to pay all my monthly bills on time. Without Bubblews I would not be able to pay all of my monthly bills.

Bubblews has given me a place to vent. Some people do in fact use this website as a journal or public diary. Didn't have a good day at work or did you just get dumped? Write about that on Bubblews! Want to share an exciting story or good news to the world? Bubblews is that place for you to share your wonderful news.

Bubblews is a place for sharing information whether it is personal or worldwide news. Since Bubblews is a global website with many users from all over the world you get to really learn about different cultures and hear news stories from different point of views. I've literally met people from all over the world on this site.

The Downs of Bubblews.

Now it's time to talk about the "downs" of Bubblews. Unfortunately no website is perfect. This particular website has had many glitches and errors throughout it's existence. Fortunately for the most part this website is never done much and when it is it seems to be up and running in no time.

Sometimes the glitches and errors come out of nowhere and it can be quite frustrating. As of late the glitches and errors seem to be fixed in a timely manner but sometimes your bank is affected by these glitches and errors. One particular error I occasionally see is the ability to like or comment a post. When this glitch is happening you literally are losing money. Each like is a penny so if people can't like your post you are not getting those pennies which do in fact add up.

Another thing about Bubblews that sees problems from time to time is actually getting paid. When Bubblews went through a major redesign in mid-July of 2014 this caused many redemptions to be "lost". For a whole month many people who redeemed didn't get their redemption sent to Bubblews. Fortunately Bubblews has for the most part paid everyone but this is a common problem that I regularly hear about. So far I've been getting paid so I hope I'll keep getting paid for all my work.

Actually the Facebook thing has actually been fixed now. It was down for at least a day or two with the Bubblews Facebook page being taken down but now it's up and working again.

One of the current downs is that you cannot post links from bubblews on Facebook. Facebook has banned them and blocked all bubblews.com pages, links, shares, etc.

It is a difficult site sometimes and I know there are still some problems there--lack of payment is a serious issue
